I used to go to the gym and do group exercise classes for the motivation since I found it hard to motivate myself for individual workouts. However, I found it difficult to get up at 5:30 am for a 6 am workout. When I started travelling, I started doing YouTube workouts and found the variety really worked well. I was really mixing up the channels and the workout types. Not only that, but I could sleep in until 6 or 6:30 and still get finish up and still manage to fit everything into my morning! I found that 30 minutes a day is all I needed to feel great and notice results.
I purchase a few inexpensive pieces of equipment to get a good variety of workouts such as a yoga mat, free weights, micro-band and small pilates ball. Here are some playlists that I have compiled. I hope you find them as beneficial as I do:
